Mike Greaney is a cartoonist, animator and writer, whose work focuses on using humour and pathos to explore themes of human connection and cosmic disappointment and to reframe tropes of Australian culture.

He has created animated content for clients including Green Day, Sesame Street, Neil Young, The Sydney Theatre Company and The Malthouse Theatre Company, written and voice acted for Nickelodeon. His short films and music videos have screened at The Austin Film Festival, SXSW, The Annecy International Animation Festival and the Melbourne International Film Festival.

His animated short series The Future Of Everything was given an “Original Series Jury Award: Honourable Mention” at the 2022 Austin Film Festival.
